Senior Analyst of HEPA Balkan

Tamás Bakó is currently working at the Western Balkans partner office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA). He graduated in History and Archaeology at the University of Zagreb in 1997 and obtained an MBA in Management, Finance and Economics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2002. Later, in 2021, he earned his PhD in Regional Science. He has spent nearly 30 years in various diplomatic or foreign economic positions in the successor states of former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia). He is also a member of both the International Regional Science Association and the Hungarian Regional Science Association.
