Who are we?
The Budapest Balkans Forum (BBF) is one of the flagship conferences of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs.
As it has been since the launch of the BBF in 2016, our aim is to gather decision-makers, policymakers, and the expert community to discuss the most pressing trends and opportunities shaping the Western Balkans, since the future of Europe is inseparable from that of the Western Balkans.
This year, we’re gathering under the theme of Prioritizing the Western Balkans, and our panels will explore the importance of connectivity within the Western Balkans, upcoming security challenges, the role of mutual values and ways to pursue enlargement with greater speed and clarity.
