Mehdi Sejdiu is a PhD candidate at the Heidelberg University. He previously worked as a political advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo (2021–2023), mostly coordinating Kosovo–EU affairs, and as an IPS Fellow at the German Bundestag. He also worked at several research institutes in Germany and Kosovo, including the Institute for Political Science Heidelberg, the Balkan Policy Research Group, and the Group for Legal and Political Studies. Mr. Sejdiu studied at Istanbul Şehir University (BA), University of Heidelberg (MA), and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
