He obtained his law degree in 2001 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged. Between 2005 and 2006, he participated in a master’s program at the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels. In 2013, he obtained his PhD degree at the University of Szeged.

He worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged, at the Department of International Law and European Law, between 2001 and 2003. From 2003 to 2004, he worked at the Information Office, and then he was a parliamentary assistant to István Szent-Iványi, the MEP of SZDSZ, until 2009. In the same year, he was also the MEP candidate of SZDSZ in the European parliamentary elections. From 2009 as a teaching assistant, and from 2011 to 2016 as an assistant professor, he worked at the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged.

From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a chief advisor alongside the Civil College of the Curia. Between 2015 and 2019, he was an associate professor at the National University of Public Service, and from 2016 to 2017, he served as its vice dean. From 2017 to 2018, he was the director of the Hungarian Judicial Academy at the National Office for the Judiciary.

From 2018 to 2020, he served as the State Secretary for European Union and International Judicial Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice. Since 2019, he has been an associate professor at the Faculty of Law of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church. Since 2020, he has been the State Secretary for European Union Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office.

He speaks English and French fluently and has an intermediate level of proficiency in Russian.
