Géza SEBESTYÉN
Head of the Center for Economic Policy, MCC
Géza Sebestyén is currently the Head of the Center for Economic Policy at Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC). He has previously lectured at János Kodolányi College, the University of Szeged, and Corvinus University of Budapest. Additionally, he has held several positions, including Research Director at the Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation, Member of the Board of Directors at MKB Venture Capital Management, and Member of the Advisory Board at the Pallas Athéné Domus Scientiae Foundation. A certified mathematician and economist, he has served as a guest lecturer at institutions such as the Munich Business School in Germany, the Azerbaijan Stock Exchange, ESSCA in France, the International Banker’s School, WU Wien in Vienna, the World Bank, Selye János University in Révkomárom (2003-2005), and ELTE. He earned his doctorate at Corvinus University of Budapest, where his research focused on dynamic stochastic banking asset-liability management.
