Nicolas Faye is currently serving as the head of the Western Balkans Department at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. He holds a graduate diploma from the Aix-En-Provence Institute of Political Studies in France. He has worked within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1999. In this time, Nicolas Faye has worked as vice consul and press officer in Belgrade, vice consul and head of the Consular Section in St Petersburg, and the desk officer in charge of Kosovo. He was also the deputy head of mission at the French Embassy in Yerevan from 2014 to 2017 and deputy head of mission at the French Embassy in Belgrade from 2017 to 2021.
