Andreas Banoutsos holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of Buckingham (UK). He is a graduate in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a Master of Arts in Intelligence and Security studies from Brunel University London (UK).

He has worked as a consultant in the public and private sector for many years. In 2015 he founded the Athens based think tank Center for International Strategic Analyses-KEDISA which specialises in International Affairs and Strategic Studies. His main research interests include international relations, security and geopolitics.
