Ambassador András László Király is the director of strategy and planning section of the Sándor Palace, the Office of the President of Hungary. Before joining the presidency in May 2022, he served as Hungary’s ambassador to India and neighboring South Asian countries. His previous international assignment abroad was as ambassador of Hungary to South Africa and the SADC countries. In 2014 he worked as the director of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (currently the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade), he also worked as head of strategy at the Office of Hungarians Abroad. He served in different positions in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
