The Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) is the leading Hungarian foreign policy think-tank, carrying out its activities in fields covering the priorities of the Hungarian foreign policy. The Institute actively shapes the domestic professional network of foreign policy and foreign trade discourse, while reaching out to the wider public as well.

HIIA is a member and participant of several think-tank networks such as the Think Visegrad and collaborates with foreign research institutes and universities in and outside Europe.
