Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade
The Government of Hungary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade remains committed to the international stabilization efforts of the Western Balkans region. Hungary, as a direct neighbour of the Western Balkans has a strong interest in seeing security and stability prevail in the region. The Hungarian Government is convinced, that a credible EU integration perspective is particularly important at a time when the security situation has become more fragile and we therefore advocate for the acceleration of the EU integration of the Western Balkans.
Besides the political support, the Ministry provides technical assistance with the secondment of EU-integration experts to each country to support the accession process with their expertise. Hungary is also one of the biggest contributors to the military missions in the region. Strengthening the economic, commercial, cultural and political cooperation between our country and the Western Balkans remains a priority for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

International Visegrad Fund
The International Visegrad Fund supports regional cooperation between civil society organizations to advance their relations, exchange and share ideas and promote mutual understanding.
The International Visegrad Fund is a donor organization established in 2000 by the governments of the Visegrad Group countries – Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The Fund follows the vision of President Vaclav Havel, President Lech Wałęsa and Prime Minister József Antall and supports regional cooperation of civil society organizations. That is possible thanks to Grants, Scholarships and Artists Residencies. The Fund seeks original approaches that help the region progress in seven main areas of Culture, Education, Innovation, Democratic Values, Public Policy, Environment and Tourism, and Social Development.
