Who are we?

The Budapest Balkans Forum is the flagship conference of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, bringing more than 100 experts, decision-makers, and policy-shapers from across the globe together in Hungary.

As the Western Balkans is of strategic importance to the Visegrad countries, the conference brings in the Visegrad perspective and experience on current issues, including the consequences of the war in Ukraine to the region, bilateral disputes, and the prospects of EU enlargement. The event is financially supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
