Péter Pál KRÁNITZ

During his studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Péter spent six months in Armenia as a Visegrád Fund scholarship recipient, working at various research institutes. He undertook various study trips across Europe, the Middle East, and overseas with scholarships from the Tempus Public Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. In 2023, he earned his PhD with a doctoral thesis on the international political discourses concerning the Armenian Question.

His studies on the Armenian genocide, the subsequent refugee wave, the Armenian diaspora, and the history of international asylum law have been published in five languages in international and Hungarian peer-reviewed journals and other publications. He is the author and editor of four volumes. His exhibition showcasing the historical relations between Hungary and the Caucasian states was displayed in Budapest and Tbilisi. He also worked as an editor for radio and television news and magazine programs as a foreign affairs journalist.
