Senada Šelo Šabić is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Development and International Relations in Zagreb, Croatia. She holds PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute in Florence and has earned two Master’s degrees – in International Relations from the University of Zagreb and in Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, USA.  Her research interests include European affairs, the Balkans, migration, and international security. Senada Šelo Šabić has previously coordinated European research projects and has been a consultant for international development agencies. She publishes academic and policy papers and writes regularly for domestic and international media.
